You’re welcome. Now that you are defining a gain for your EDFA black box, select the “gain control” option for “operation mode” in you EDFA black box properties to maintain the gain you have defined. You can use the the amplifier after the line to compensate the line attenuation. Also, this way you won’t be injecting too much power into the line.
