Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSystem is a comprehensive software design suite that enables users to plan, test, and simulate optical links in the transmission layer of modern optical networks.
OptiInstrument addresses the needs of researchers, scientists, photonic engineers, professors and students who are working with instruments.
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiFDTD is a powerful, highly integrated, and user friendly CAD environment that enables the design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.

Please guide me anyone to find out Q factor and BER for this design.
Hello Sayed
Your system is working well, the only thing you need to add is power booster after the WDM Tx(Prior to SMF).In your system Fiber length after the mux is 100km followed by EDFA,it is better to consider pre amplifier so that in every loop signal will be amplified and mitigate the effects of attenuation efficiently.FBG you have used is working well too.I have add pre amp to your system and system works for 10(1000Km) loops and may it go further.I have attached the file below.Tell me if this works for you and feel free to ask if you have any doubts regarding this setup.
Regards
If you mean “how to find Q factor/BER” in your file, you simply have to right-click on the BER Analyzer component, and under “component results” you find what you need. Does this answer your questions?
PS: for next topic, could you be more specific in the topic name? this will ensure that more people will answer to your questions 🙂
I think find my question ans clearly. Thanks everyone.
Alessandro Sayed had some problem in signal amplification thats why he couldnt get q-factor at receiver side.Welcome sayed aman ullah, best of luck for research. If you will have any problem share with us
Thanks Abhishek, I ran the simulation file and I did get Q/BER, this is why I did not fully understand the question…
Regards!
