Thanks. I suppose that I can use the DSP component. It will be similar to the Matlab Co-Simulation method I plan to use. Just want to know if electronic equalizer can save us some time.

Thanks for the response. I can use the electronic equalizer for OOK system and was not able to use it in a coherent system setting. I would like to use the electronic equalizer for compensate chromatic dispersion but need to develop a Matlab program for this task. If there is some example file for this application, please let me know it.
