Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

I need to design a 40GHz MIMO wireless link, so which I have to do in MATLAB as there is no antenna block in optisystem, after designing in MATLAB how can I combine it in optisystem.
With regards
Hi Dhiman,
You can use Matlab component in external software library for the comsimulation. To co-simulate Optisystem and Matlab, you’d better get some basic understanding of the form of data in optisystem. Therefore, I suggest that you carefully go through the tutorials and videos provided for this purpose. The links to the videos and tutorials are provided in the following topic:
You can also find some of them in Matlab co-simulation folder in Optisystem samples folder.
Regards
by interfacing matlab with optisystem(as rightly suggested by alistu)
Dear alistu and aasif, Thanks it will definitely help me..
