For the performance evaluation of a Wdm system, is there any problem if we demultiplex and analyze the BER of only a single channel in a 4 channel WDM system(193.1-193.4).
Is it necessary to analyse all the channels??? If so then what values should be chosen for the center frequency of optical Gaussian filters for each channel.
P.S: I have only demultiplexed a single channel and the Gaussian filter center frequency was taken as 193.1 Thz
in wdm system change the parameter of different channel frequency…the frequency must be same as you have taken your input channel frequency..like 193.1 to 193.4 THz.then only you can get your result perfectly…
similarly, set the parameter of demux side
