Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

I want to study the effect of power on BER of 10 channel WDM DP-QPSK coherent system. I have used 10 inbuilt DP-QPSK transmitter in the design and 10 BER test sets. To study the effect should i put the power of all the transmitters in sweep mode and then calculate the results or is there any simpler method for this . Kindly give the reply
Hi Monika,
Please kindly elaborate what you are going to analyze, if you have already designed the system please attach herewith so that I can help better in this context. Thanking you.
