Hi,
I’m wandering if we can use WDM Analyzers in 100G DP-QPSK systems and if the results are reliable?
Here’s a picture attached to illustrate my question.
You can use the WDM Analyzers to calculate the SNR of a DP-QPSK system. It is a pretty simple calculation. To see how it is calculated, right-click the WDM Analyzer and choose Component Properties. Then click on Help. Although different modulation formats will have different spectrum shapes, the SNR calculation is generally similar.

thanks for your answer.
I’m mostly concerned about the OSNR measurements. Is that parameter reliable too?
There should be no problem with using the OSNR measurements.
