I am working on the research of (Ultra Wide Band over optical fiber) ,my system includes transmitting and receiving antennas. How I can represent UWB antennas in the simulation in Optisystem 12.0.
Thanks
Hi Jaffar,
Probably the best way is to use the s-parameter component, in the /Passives Library/Electrical/Measured Components/ folder. If you have the .s#p file you can use that to model the antenna. In the Component Properties window click on Help button for further information.
Hope it helps.
More focus must be given to gain of the antenna. Sometimes the S parameters or RL shows good results but, if gain is poor, the antenna will not work.
Thanks PADAM
