I need to generate a Scattering Data Script but the option seems to be unavailable. The button appears in gray and I can`t click it.
What am I doing wrong? It is for my Master’s Project.

From your screenshot it would appear you are trying to activate the scripting from within the layout view (see the tabs along the bottom). You need to be in the Scripting tab (second from the right). Once in that tab you will see that the buttons will no longer be disabled.
