I conducted a simulation of an optical system over the UOWC channel and I want to set up a scintillation model with a specific index refraction structure within the UOWC channel. The encountered problem is that the system hangs when I select the gamma-gamma model as a scintillation model without even changing its default index refraction structure value (5e-15), even though the second log-normal model is running within the system as expected!! knowing that the gamma model works well with the FSO channel configuration!! Any insights on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated??
