I am designing a TWDM -PON Architecture for Next Generation PON2 by integrating four 10 Gb/s wavelengths to achieve a minimum aggregate capacity of 40Gb/s.I am not getting any signal for the US.Making use of a bidirectional optical fiber.
What could be the reason ?Does a bidirectional fiber require any particular specifications for both Downstream/Upstream transmission.

i am facing the same problem in different scenario..when i use bidirectional fiber it works in downstream only..however it doesn’t show any signal response in upstream..please check the attachment
