Hi,
I simulated tapered fiber and OptiBPM gave transmission&distance graph.
I need transmission&wavelength graph but I couldn’t although I use wavelength scripting.
Does anybody know OptiBPM can do this?
I attached the designer file.
I ran your sample file. It makes a graph of the power in the output waveguide (the transmission), as shown below. If you click on the blue icon at the top left, there will be a menu item, Export Data… That will send the data in the graph to an ascii file which can be accessed by spreadsheet or graphics software to make any kind of graph of this data.
OptiBPM Analyzer.
Thank you for your reply but I amnot asking this.
My question: Does OptiBPM give transmission vs. wavelength plot, not the transmission vs. distance.
The attached is not a plot of transmission vs. distance. It is a plot of transmission vs. iteration. If you look at the script you can see that at the first iteration the wavelength is 1.52, in the second it is 1.521, and so on up to 1.539. In effect, it is a plot of transmission vs. wavelength.
