Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi my file is attached, I am designing LED structure to see the transmission, but my results are showing transmission power is 1W/m. Its too low it shouldn’t be 1 W/m. Because my line source input power is 1mW, which is distributed along the length of source which is 1.8um. So 1mW/1.8um = 555W/m.
But I am getting it 1W/m.
Please guide me where is the mistake in my design.
Thank you.
Regards
Jawad
Check you email I have responded there. I am unable to reproduce your erroneous results.
