sir, i have simulated ROF WDM 8 channel OFDM system for approximate 3000 km. is it ok ? is that much distance is realistic for ROF applications?

Any transmission distance could be realistic provided all others parameters in the designed channel are traded off for a good reason.

Transmission distance is one of the design parameter. so you can use this one on condition that the other design parameters are properly chosen.
