Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

When simulating QPSK, I chose cascaded MZM to generate QPSK signal. Can I choose to demodulate by MZDI at the receiving end? I don’t see a simulation in the example, so it’s a little unclear. thank you.
Dear Sun,
Typically, delayed interferometers are used in DPSK. I am not sure if the MZDI would work for QPSK. However, my guess the operation depends on the applied delay in both arms of the coherent detectors if it would work. You may email me your project as zip file to check it. My email is ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com.
