Hello and good day to all,
I want to measure a target BER of 1e-12 for a 10 Gb/s signal. From what I understand, to achieve this, I need to transmit the signal for 100 seconds(1/100x10e9). How can we do the same measuremnt using Optisystem?
Hi,
there are many examples on how to measure BER according to the modulation technique you use.
just try to start from one of them and modify it till you reach your own design or closer to check the validity of your design.
which version do u use and let me know some your design, I might be able to help and guide u to the appropriate example

Sorry for the late reply, Im using Version 7.
The modulation is NRZ-OOK. I have tried to attach the project file but its giving errors, so i attached the snapshot of the design.
