Hello,
I am a beginner to simulate polymer waveguides using OPtiBPM and optiFDTD. In the case of designing the waveguide in the Layout, I have concern the following issues:
1. how to define the core diameter of the waveguide (for example, I want to design the core diameter like 8 um 0r 40 um)?
2. is it possible to differentiate the step-index (SI) and graded-index (GI) profiles?
3. How to calculate the propagation loss as well as crosstalk analysis ( in case of bending waveguides)
If possible, please provide me the advice on the above-mentioned issue. Thank you very much for your kind cooperation.
Best regards,
Rasel
Rasel,
Dear Mr. Scott Newman,
Thank you very much for your advice. I am trying to do it according to your advice.
