Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi
I want to use 2 uniform FBG and see reflected but I see one peak in attached fig
can you help me to see 2 peaks in WDM fbg sensor interrogator?
Hello Mehdi,
please refer to the example “FBGSensor_Example_4_Gratings.osd” in OptiSystem Example Library located at
C:\Users\xxxxxxx\Documents\OptiSystem 15.2 Samples\Sensor systems\FBG Sensor
for more information on how to setup the FBGs for sensing purposes.
regards,
Ahmad
Hi Ahmad,
thanks.
I realized that the peaks can be changed by changing iteration.
Why increase its rise to the next peaks?
What is the reason for the use of optical fiber between sensors?
Very informative and It was an awesome post. I love reading your fantastic content. Thanks for sharing it with us. We are so greatful to your sharing
This is my website https://thexmodgames.net
Hello Mehdi,
The purpose of using the fiber is to demonstrate the capability of transmitting the sensed signal to other locations far from sensing location and show the possibility to have multi-sensors at different locations that communication with single office for monitoring.
I don’t understand your other question.
Could you please email it to me at ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com
Regards,
Ahmad
