Simulation stucks and closes the application automaticaly

Hello
I am Angshumoni Talukdar, i am trying to simulate a FBG based OTDR sensor for temperature detections using a reference research paper. Whenever i try to run simulation it always stucks on the power combiner and closes the application. i have tried many times but still the same problem arises. i have included the link of the research paper herewith, please look at my problem and give me the required instructions.

Also, do you have a purchased license or are you using a evaluation license (30-days trial version)? If you have a purchased license, can you please share the license serial number?
