OptiSystem doesn’t have a sensor component that directly simulate pending in a pipe. However, you may use the Matlab component in OptiSystem and write a code that models the effect and add it to OptiSystem components. However, if you can correlate the bending effect to stress and strain, then you might use the Uniform FBG Sensor component.
