hello everyone
i have introduced scintillation effect in my system by checking the “intensity scintillation” box in the FSO channel component and calculated the received power. now , i need to validate the results (i.e. the received power), using matlab, that means i need to model the scintillation effect using matlab. according to the optisystem help, the scintillation attenuation is calculated using “gamma gamma ” turbulenece model, but in the ‘help’ they have given the equation for the PDF of intensity of the signal. Can somebody tell me how can i calculate the received power after undergoing the scintillation effect using gamma gamma model in MATLAB, i mean the equation for that.
I am not able to find it anywhere.
Please somebody guide me
