Hi all,
I would like to know if there is any software for drawing(that has all the ready component like LN-MZM or single mode fiber etc.) the schematic of my system that i have designed using optisystem as I don’t want to attach the optisystem design screenshot. So please help me as soon as possible. With regards,

Hi Dhiman,
As far as I know, Optisystem is the only Optiwave software to implement systems this way, and it is against forum rules to discuss products from other companies. Besides, using a screenshot from some software using a whole other software is not common in papers and theses. Nevertheless, I would also like to know how the schematics (which are not screenshots and look as if they were drawn) are made in papers and would be grateful if someone shares their experience.

I agree to Alistu we should not discuss other software here and same is needed for me “which are not screenshots and look as if they were drawn”

Hi,
It is actually not against the rules to discuss other software just promoting your own software:
If you’re caught shilling, you’re banned and you’re not coming back. A shill is an owner, employee or associate of a seller of products or services who pretends (or purposefully omits) any association with the product or service, while pretending to be a satisfied customer or interested bystander. People who omit an association with a product or service for other reasons (they’re paid to post about it, they’re helping a friend, etc.) so that they can help promote it are also shills.
I am sure there are schematic drawing programs out there, but I am not familiar with any particular to optical systems.

Dear Dhiman,
You can try to draw the symbols in paint or microsoft power point. I think it will help.
