Hello,
i m implemeting SAC OCDMA system and trying to simulate various codes on it. I am unable to understand compementary detection technique by using FBGs. Like in Decoder part using FBGs the upper part is same as encoder while lower one is just complement of it. I am not getting how and what the wavelengths has to be assigned to the lower FBGs. and why we are using complement of encoder.

i m attaching example file ..it is sac system given in examples of optisystem 15. i m not able to understand hw detection process takes place…i mean if we are using codes having cross correlation 1 then how MAI gets eliminated using detection tech. and which is used and how FBGs wavelengths are selected in decoder part..
