What is best way to optimise the resolution of drop waveguides transmission spectrum. I am using resonators with larger dimensions than this off the example and getting good resolution is becoming computationally intensive.

can you elaborate on the resolution you seek to attain and the dimensions you have to simulate? That’s true that FDTD can become intensive for large 3D problems. We provide simulators for Linux that can exploit clusters of computers so in many cases it can reduce dramatically the computation time.
