Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Dear All,
I would like to know the setting required to operate RSOA in saturation region, also I need to know how to connect its six ports.
Regards
Hi Jaffar, what version of OptiSystem are you using for your project?
Hi Ravil
I am using Optisystem 12.0
ok, in my opinion it has similar to Reflective EDFA connection shown at “Reflective Amplifier” tutorial. Have you considered it?
By the way, is it the one from library or is it some custom made?
My version is 13, is there tutorial shows how to connect the six ports. By the way, as mentioned in new features of optisystem 13.0, a new visualizer-Lightwave Analyzer are added into the library. So the same problem, how to use it. Actually, i want measure the bandwidth of RSOA, can this visualizer be involved?
