Dear Friends
Hope you all will be fine
In many optical components in optisystems like Optical Fiber or Band Pass Filters etc,In component properties there is “Reference Wavelength”.What is its importance on simulation and results? If a system is working on 1555nm then the reference wavelength which is set at 1550nm as default value, should be changed from 1550 to 1555nm or not?
Please clear the concept
Regards
