I am simulating a 16 channel WDM system. I want to plot BER v/s received power. How to vary the received power of the system simulated in optisystem?
Hello,
You can place an attenuator in front of the pin detector (receiver) and sweep the attenuation, then plot the BER versus received power. However, you need to place a power meter visualizer to monitor the input optical power entered to the pin component.
