Is it possible to simulate Rayleigh back-scattering in optical fibers with OptiSystem?
Answer:
Yes, we provide a Rayleigh backscattering model in our Bidirectional Optical Fiber component.
Please see the enclosed image of the properties setup window for the Rayleigh backscattering feature in our component.
