Hi
I am a PH.d student from Brazil. I would like to know if it is possible to import a signal from a Python script to Optisystem using the Python component. I know it is possible to do it using the Matlab component and I have already accomplished this task by configuring some OutputPort vectors. However, I would like to use the Python component instead, in order to integrate some machine learning code. Is there an example of how to do this?
Hello Luiz,
Yes, you should be able to operate the Python component in a similar way to the Matlab component.
There are few examples and relevant documentation at the following link.
Which version of OptiSystem are you using?
C:\Users\USER NAME\Documents\OptiSystem 17.1 Samples\PythonScripts
Regards,
Ahmad
