What is the difference between pump coupler co-propagation and pump coupler bidirectional?
Hi Farhad, As its name implies, the pump coupler bidirectional is bidirectional and you can see this from the inputs and outputs of the component. On the other hand, the pump-coupler co-propagating is not bidirectional, and you can determine the attenuation of the signal and the pump. i suggest that you take a look at the help section for both components more more detailed information.
Cheers!
Thanks for your kind answer.
You’re welcome Farhad.
Dear Alistu
Could you please describe the two output ports on the left side of bidirectional coupler and the input port on the right side of it?
Thanks in advanced
Dear Farhad, In the first two outputs, the signal from the input 3 is there considering the insertion loss for each input. In addition, the signal from input port of each of these outputs (outpus 1 and 2) can also exist in their output depending on their return loss. So the signal from Input 3 is splitted between output 1 and output 2.
