Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi, Everyone hope you are all fine. My question is that i generate a solitonic pulse in optisystem by using sech pulse generator and pseudo random bit sequence generator. The pseudo random bit sequence generator randomly generate at input multiple pulses but at the output i get sometime multiple pulses and sometime get single. So, kindly guide me why i can get sometime single and multiple pulses? Kindly, give me the reason of this process.
Abu Bakar,
it is called “pseudo RANDOM bit sequence generator” so it is random device.
if you want to have specific output all the time and each time you run the program use the “User Defined Bit sequence generator” and define the bit sequence that you want to have all the time, it is as simple as that -:)
hope that helps,
thanks
Mohamed Abouseif
ok thanks.
