In optical fiber properties in optisystem,under numerical options there is one thing propagator type and has two options EXPONENTIAL AND RUNGE-KUTTA. what does it mean?? what is indicated by propogation
Hi Amit,
The propagator type describes the numerical approach to implementing the nonlinear operator in the split-step fourier method, which in turn is used to model dispersion and self-phase modulation.
