I am trying to create multiple wavelengths by modulating an optical pulse with a very high frequency sine wave with a pulsed laser source of 4GHz. I am using LiNb Modulator and operating it at its Null point to make it operate in its non-linear region. At this point it produces multiple sidebands following the principle of optical carrier suppression. The channels are then demultiplexed into 4 channels, delayed and multiplexed again to produce time interleaved pulses at 4 times the repetition rate of laser source, hence making it 16GHz.
In one time period, when I was getting one pulse from the laser source, I should get 4 pulses in each time interval after multiplexing. But I am getting only two pulses.
I am attaching the osd file. Can anyone explain what am i doing wrong ?
