Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi everyone,
I think there is a printing error in Tutorial-1 “Lesson 5: Bidirectional Simulation — Working with Multiple Iterations”. Can someone help me about this error, because i am confused! 🙁
I think error is in the second paragraph below the Figure-4 in this link
Lesson 5: Bidirectional Simulation — Working with Multiple Iterations
The error is in this line “In order to force the signal to circulate multiple types in the system…”
But I think this line should be like this “In order to force the signal to circulate multiple times in the system…”
Am I correct? PLZ help me…
Thank u
Thanks this typo will be fixed!
Thanks for being so attentive, Raja! This particular sentence have confused me as well but I was busy and haven’t got a chance to mention about it in the forum… Good job!
Thanks Marek and Ravil. i am feeling so confident… 🙂
