Is there any way to check the polarisation of signals in optisystem ?
Hi Leeba,
Have you tried polarization meter? It shows the average polarization state of the optical signal. You can see signal azimuth and ellipticity using it. There is also Polarization analyzer available in the optical section of the visualizers library which you may want to use for this purpose.

Hi leeba, regarding the BER and error vector magnitude (EVM %), you can find for both X and Y polarization in the “Decision” and “BER test set” component at the receiver side.

Although we have polarizer or polariser is an optical filter that passes light of a specific polarization and blocks waves of other polarizations.
I don’t think in optisystem we have any polarisation analyzer.
