Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi,
Is it possible to measure the phase noise of an electrical oscillator using Optisystem?
Any help will be appreciated…
(Please see the attached graph for details…)
Dear Sibghat,
Currently we don’t offer direct measurement of Phase noise. However, you could make such measurement using the RF spectrum Analyzer as shown in the attached images that were obtained from the webinar “Understanding Phase Noise Fundamentals” offered by Rohde Schwarz.
We’ll add this measurement to OptiSystem in the next releases.
Regards,
Ahmad
