And its Matlab cosimulation capability makes is quite attractive, although I believe there should be more tutorials available on this.

Do you have any videos that will make me learn the software very quick?
-
March 2, 2015 at 9:29 am #18018alistuParticipant
There are plenty of vids. You just need to search for them on Google.
I learned the software by going through the exercises in the tutorials, whose files are there in Optisystem samples, and having a look at the vids to get a better understanding of the exercises I had problem doing. -

Look for a folder on your computer named “doc”, it has all the necessary documentation to get a good foundation in the program, the path on the desktop/notebook is more or less this:
C:\Program Files (x 86) \Optiwave Software\OptiSystem
Consistency is the key word, good studies.-

How do I create a delay line interferometer using the optisystem?
-
March 11, 2015 at 3:22 am #18503Dr Rk SethiParticipant
Hi Anitha,
What is your requirement?
You can you use the optical fiber of the suitable length for getting the exact amount of the delay.
There is already a delay interferometer in the optisystem. -
March 11, 2015 at 2:07 pm #18544ANITA ANTWIWAAParticipant
Thanks Sethi, I will check again for the delay interferometer.
