Suppose if we take an Optisystem project which is designed for Is-owc and
modify it to suit for FSO, what are the parameters to be modified? any
parameters of MZM have to be modified such as Extinction ratio, switching
bias voltage, switching RF voltage; Electrical gain, Bit rate per channel,
Bandwidth of Mux/Demux etc? and any other parameters?

Dear Vamsi,
all of these parameters that you’ve listed are design parameters that need to be adapted to the communication system. Some of them will stay the same and others will vary.
So, you should be able to modify the IS-OWS project and use FSO channel.
