Hi all,
I have successfully integrated the optisystem design with the matlab code. Using matlab code, I am able to open the desired optisystem design file, compile it and I can import the desired results into the matlab and I can plot graph of the same in the Matlab.
Now, I want to invoke FIR filter(matlab code) in to the optisystem for dispersion compensation and then to get the desired results so, Can anybody suggest me the use of matlab component in the optisystem.
Regards,
Ankit
You could use either the Matlab component or Matlab Optical Filter component. The Help files are great ways to start learning. Just double click the component and then choose Help. There have also been a couple forum posts on the Matlab component and I would suggest looking at them. Here is a recent one that explains how to do calculations on the spatial profile of a mode with Matlab:
