In OptiSystem 14, there is a component called optical subtractor.. I have used optical subtractor to subtract my chaos signal. But it does not subtract my chaos signal. What is the error in it? I have googled and found out (in the same optical community forum) that there is a software problem in optical subtractor.. I am in need of using this optical subtractor.. Is there any alternatives for optical subtractor? If so please mention it.. Please kindly help me in this problem.. I have attached my base paper.

Optical subtractor works correctly. there is example titled “Optical Subtractor.osd” you can check it.
the output field of the optical subtractor is the difference of its input fields.

I have a similar problem about optical subtractor in optisystem 15:
Only having the same wavelength and same power, the two input optical signal can be correct subtracted(=0).If not, the output signal seems to be the add result of two input signals.
finally, I want to known the version of “Optical Subtractor.osd” you provided. and there is a .osd about version 13 or 15.
