kindly share ideas on introducing volterra equalizer in optical systems

Not exactly sure what are you trying to do. Are you trying to model equalizer (in matlab, for instance) by using math model?
It is usually the part of DSP (as you probably know) for high capacity optical system which mostly built using OFDM principle. There is one model of DSP in examples.

I ran your simulation by making all noise sources (including laser linewidths) to zero and still it didn’t get the correct results.
I even connected the OFDM modulator and demodulator together and it didn’t give the right results! This might be due to some kind of bug or something.
