In optisystem 14 example (optical attenuator ) why its giving ber =1 and q factor =0
Looks like the Photodetector component has been garbled some how! Just replace that PIN Photodiode with a new one from library. Also the Bit rate is too quick for the Laser model to produce a good output. I turned the bit rate down to 2 Gbps and the system gave a reasonable BER.
