Hi everyone, hope you are fine. I have a question that in soliton transmission along with variation of data rate from 10Gbps to 50Gbps and distance 9,040km so i used input power 40mW along with sech and PBRS generator and also used optical amplifier with gain which varies from 10dB to 20dB and initiates 4dB noise so at input power meter power depicts 10mW and at output power 10mW, 13mW, 11mw, 15mW and 17mW so what is the reason behind more power i get at ouput as compared to input and why output power oscillate with different data rate? please reply me as soon as possible its urgent.
