I think we couldnot design optical wave guide in optisystem.
But we design waveguide in optiBPM.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides.

In addition to this i would like to share applications of OptiBPM.

Large scale optical circuit design capabilities
Waveguides from a diffused process

Model non-symmetrical waveguide structures
Channel, rib or ridge waveguide design
Buried waveguides

Sensor structures
Design optical splitters, combiners, couplers, multiplexers, and modulators.

The width of a waveguide (constant or variable) is defined as perpendicular to the path along the waveguide center.

i second Mr rajguru M Mohan. You need to get access to the OptiBPM tool for designing an optical wavelength for your application. OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. I hope this reply will be of some benefit.
