Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello to optical experts. I am new to Optisystem and i want to simulate nonlinear shannon limit for CO-OFDM polarization multiplexed system. Can you help me on developing system and help me simulate it. I want to understand the concept.

Thank you so much in advance.
Hi Sosena,
You can find examples of coherent optical OFDM in OptiSystem samples (after you install OptiSystem samples) that are useful to you. Also there is a paper by Dr Kramer and Dr Ghozlan which analyzes nonlinear capacity in fiber optics in a general sense using simulations (not with OptiSystem) which you can find and go through to read more about the concept.
