Hi,
I am trying on a project and have a problem with total noise power. When I change the input paremeters, the gain always changes but the noise figure generally minus of the gain value and according to the gain. Below you can find my project and a screenshot attached. Has anyone have an opinion ?
Dear Emrah,
The noise figure of an EDFA can’t be negative. The minimum possible noise figure of an EDFA is 3.
I guess the placement of the input and output terminals of the dual port analyzer is not correct.
Please send me the project as a zip file to my email at ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com to fix the issue.
Regards,
Ahmad
Thanks Ahmad. I mailed my project to you.
