Can anyone tell me where to get the components shown in the figure using optisystem software.
The attached figure is the circuit diagram of an encoder employed in optical communication using MZI switching.
Hi,
I am having a little trouble making out the writing in that picture! However, it seems like you are interested in sine generators, directly modulated lasers, x couplers, travelling wave SOA’s and spectrum analyzers.
Sine Generator – default/Transmitters Library/Pulse Generators/Electrical
Laser Rate Equations – default/Transmitters Library/Optical Sources/
X coupler – default/Passives Library/Optical/Couplers
Travelling Wave SOA – default/Amplifiers Library/Optical/SOA
Spectrum Analyzer – default/Visualizer Library/Optical
I think you may be interested in this other forum post. I made a quick design of an SOA-MZ switch:
All the components are laid out already.
