Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

dear friend,
i am working with few mode amplification, i attached that model in which i tried for some modes, but i need that how can i get and visualize the modes that to amplified, and kindly check any thing need to modify for that
One way is to put mode selectors at the output and measure how each mode will experience the gain. In the options of the amplifier you can set which pump modes exist and those are the ones that will be amplified the most.
Regards
Dear Damian, j how could we choose pump mode either in single pump source or spatialpump source and shall we choose the third window wavelength in spatial light source
You would use the multimode EDFA and change the options in the Numerical tab of the component properties. You will need to match the modes with your spatial pump source so that power will be coupled.
Your last question is not clear to me.
Regards
dear damian,
thank u so much damian , i will work fr that
