Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

I am using Optisystem version 18. I have combined two transmitters running at ‘R’ Gbps each. The input signal to receiver is now at 2R Gbps. The R Gbps is the global parameter. I want the DSP parameters to run at 2R Gbps but its parameters are working at global parameter ‘bit rate’ i.e. R Gbps. Please help me in this regard and let me know how to change the default operating Bit Rate setting in DSP.
Dear Dr Anupam,
How did you combine the two rates?
What is the used modulation format?
Regards,
Ahmad
