You can have different kinds of index profiles for the MM EDF in addition to step index. You can control alpha in the parabolic index profile as well as load your external index profile. However, you must have the same format as explained in the component data sheet and shown in the attached image. Please refer to component data sheet for more information.
When i couple Pump signal and Input Signal why does it show error, do i have to use spatial input CW signal and spatial Input pump signal. Also sir what about depreciated MM EDFA, cant it be used?
